AI Use Disclosure

Effective date: October 6, 2026

At The Byrd Group, we believe you deserve to know how we work. Like many small businesses, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help us work more efficiently. This page explains how we use AI, how we don’t, and how we protect you.

The short version: AI helps us with drafts and busywork. Tom and Tonya Byrd make every decision, review everything we publish, and are the people you talk to.

How We Use AI

We use AI tools to help us:

  • Draft and edit blog posts, website pages, newsletters, social media posts, and our free guides and checklists
  • Research topics and organize information, such as market trends and community details
  • Plan our YouTube videos, including topics, titles, and descriptions
  • Keep up with local news, community events, and new development in the areas we serve
  • Organize information from public records, such as property records and probate court filings
  • Sort and organize market data, such as recent home sales for a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). We never go by an AI suggestion. Tom and Tonya review the market data themselves and make every pricing recommendation.
  • Build and maintain our website, including fixing technical issues
  • Organize our email, tasks, and other day-to-day business work

Everything Is Reviewed by a Person

Every blog post, web page, and newsletter is reviewed, edited, and approved by Tom or Tonya before it is published. We check facts, add our own experience, and make sure it sounds like us. If AI helped with a first draft, the final words are still ours, and we stand behind them.

What AI Does Not Do

  • AI does not make decisions for you or about you. Advice on pricing, offers, contracts, and your real estate plan comes from us, not from a computer.
  • AI does not talk to you on our behalf. Our website does not use an AI chatbot. When you call, text, email, or fill out our contact form, a real person on our team responds.
  • AI is never used to treat anyone differently. We follow Fair Housing laws and do not use AI to screen, sort, or make decisions about people based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.

Protecting Your Information

We do not enter your confidential information, such as financial details, account numbers, or private family matters, into AI tools. For more about how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy.

Our Content Is General Information

The articles and guides on our website are for general information. They are not legal, tax, or financial advice. We are REALTOR®s, not attorneys, CPAs, or financial advisors. For advice about your specific situation, please speak with a licensed professional. We are always happy to connect you with one.

Changes to This Page

As AI tools change, the way we use them may change too. When it does, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
